Eastcliff

It was a much nicer day today but it was very stormy overnight and there were plenty of twigs and bits of loose tree littering the roads when I went out.

The sun was going down and it was just an hour after low tide but it doesn't look too low probably because of the strong winds. The sea and the distant cliffs are lovely colours and tonal opposites. There was just a little bit of drizzle in the air and as I got home it was more like sleet or snow but it's very light and not cold enough to amount to anything.

The rays in the distance are anticrepuscular rays or antisolar rays. A phenomenon I was unaware of until Tony Luxton alerted me to it.
