It's amazing to me that one thin stick can hold up that much ice and snow without breaking in half. Another sunny but cold day with a current high of 9 degrees (F). After church this morning I headed over to South Shore Park and took a few pictures up along the top of the rocks. It's been windy off and on, so the water sprays up farther and freezes more of the plants and bushes. I came home for awhile, then Jennie, Mae and I went to a "Relic, Architectural salvage and Craft show"--I took it to mean there was a little bit of everything, and that's exactly what it was. Everything from old fireplace mantles, corbels & small columns taken out of older homes, to knit items and textiles, to food, soaps, candles, etc. We had a fun time wandering around looking at everything, then went to get something to eat. There's a major snowstorm on its' way that's supposed to arrive around midnight with a projected 7-14 inches of snow accumulating through the night, so I'm glad Tom's chemo isn't until 1:00. Hopefully the major roads will have been plowed by then so that it's not a problem trying to get him there. Hope you all had a good weekend! :))
