THIMUN 2019 #5

The annual, mandatory photo of students scrutinising the Rubens at Mauritshaus, downtown Hague, and feeling much more cultured as a result.  This was during a long but fulfilling day that included a morning of committee debate for the delegates, me touring with camera, watching and listening to tomorrow's adults changing the world for the better; followed by a long afternoon of art overload. Wednesday is half day at the conference so after lunch we herded kids to the nearby Gemeente museum. My favourite place and annual experience.  After filling up on a heavenly dose of creatively curated exhibits, we then took the tram down town for the also annual mandatory stroll around Rubens, Vermeer and Rembrandt et al, that is the Mauritshuis museum complete with saying 'hi' to her with the earring of pearl.  After that, we let the students go do their own thing for a few hours whilst we did ours which mostly focussed on eating.

Very annoying internet issues that interferes with my blipfoto routine...
