In the Channel

4.6C dry bright with long sunny spells. Light ESE/N breeze.

Fergus and I went for a walk out to the shipyard after lunch. Snow was lying on grass and dry areas. Roads are clear. Some pavements clear, others have icy patches. More boats moving on the loch today, and Pole Star (Buoy-Laying Vessel) was at the new quay.
