Mind where you walk Gran!

A lovely end to the day after a lunchtime snow shower. I came along Taylor's Brae this afternoon on my way down to town to meet a friend to discuss the Oban Spring Clean, which we're holding on the last weekend of March.

It's supposedly really Tailor's Brae, as legend has it that tailors from Chalmers in the town centre used to come up here to sit in the sun and sew. Seems rather unlikely, but that's what local stories are like. 

To the left is a lovely view over the town, the harbour and the mountains of Mull. I stopped for a chat with this lady and helped her find the safest route through the ice. In return she assured me that the rest of my route down Rockfield Road and Star Brae was quite safe!
