Notre Dame Cathedral

Late afternoon in Paris, from the 47 Bus (it was stopped). We were returning from a visit to the new Henri Cartier-Bresson Foundation, in the Marais. It is showing an exhibition of photographs by his wife, Martine Franck. Her works were excellent, and well displayed, but we had mixed feelings about the new venue--it's modern and boxy, without character. The old one was smaller and unusually configured, but both Marylee and I loved it. To quote my blip in 2016, "it's a modest but lovely building built as a studio in 1912 and restructured to house the foundation". My favorite blip from it shows the exterior (In 2014).
