On Show

The long drive to Southampton behind me, I am being treated to a night away with friends in the New Forest.  I was last here to give a talk to the Dorset AGS group, tonight I was in the audience at their monthly meeting, listening to a talk by a friend whom I have not seen for many years.  A lively group with an impressive show table including this lovely Cyclamen alpinum, similar to Cyclamen coum but with the petals twisted like a propeller rather than just folded back.  Pretty.

Tomorrow I should be collecting Jamie for a trip back to Norfolk to visit his ailing Grandad.  Another long drive ahead.
