Baptist Chapel

I've been dodging showers today so there were no photographic plans just grabbing the opportunity to get a blip where I could.  I like this building it's not pretty but it somehow fits in with the surroundings very well.  We had a walk along the canal and went a slightly different way where we saw some derelict buildings which looked as if they could have been quite grand at some point.  I didn't blip them because by then it was raining again but I'll have to go back and have a better look at them sometime.

Thank you for the response to yesterday's FF blip;  many of you could tell me that it was an Acanthus for which I'm grateful.  Blippers always come to the rescue when I post something I can't identify. :-))
