Bright and blustery

We were both awake really early, it was still dark.....no point in getting up, so we dozed and eventually woke again at 9.30!!

After breakfast we took ourselves off to the canal towpath for a decent walk, having donned our walking boots off we went. Todays blip is one of the first shots I took once we got up onto the canal bank.

We ended up in Leigh, a couple of miles away, so walked into the town centre to grab a coffee and warm up a little. We had a wander around the indoor shopping area before heading back, just under 11k steps by the time we got back to the car park, so not too bad.

A quick lunch when we got home before settling down to watch the rugby.....an easier win than anticipated, similar to whats happening in the Man City v Chelsea game it seems!!!

There is a pork shoulder in a bbq sauce slow cooking in the oven, smells good......it will shred very easily later, to go on wholemeal roll, topped with cheese, a mixed salad and homemade oven cooked wedges ;-)

Not sure what to watch to ight now Les Mis has finished :-/ but looking forward to Baptise starting next week.........we remember him from the french series that featured James Nesbitt, think it was called Missing.
