Spring buds

Really windy last night and this morning, but its settled down as the day has gone on. Its now 5.15 pm and still not properly dark, Spring must be just around the corner now, hopefully!
The magnolia buds are swelling, which is a sure sign.....isnt it?!

This afternoon has been much brighter, but still chilly, so other than a walk to the shops in town, and the customary coffee and beunch in Reds, we e been indoors. Watched my team, who continue to excel under their new manager :-) unfortunately hubs team fell at the final hurdle....might have been a tall order against Cardiff bearing in mind all they have been through lately :-(

Chinese fakeaway for dinner this evening......in other words homemade, but no fat! Chinese prawn and onion curry, fried rice with peas, mushrooms and schezuan pork, and crispy seaweed, aka kale done in the oven :-)

Saturday night, so my one tipple of the week, going to try a marmalade gin tat my sis gave us to try, in a big glass with tonic, ice, and a slice of orange :-)

Forecast to orrow is better, but colder, so hoepfully get out for a proper walk.
