The youth of today?

My dad texted me last night to say that he, Auntie Jenny, and Uncle Arthur were heading to Peebles today to visit his and Jenny’s older brother and his wife and would I like to meet them in Wetherspoons for an early tea. As I’m working early tomorrow, I just took the car up and this meant I was able to save Uncle Davie getting the bus home to Walkerburn. After the meal, I looked at these three siblings, ranging in age from 71 to 85 all fully absorbed in their phones.

Apparently, it’s perfectly acceptable if there’s cricket scores to be looked at! And they say the younger generation are obsessed with technology?
