Wild At Woodside

My birthday today - birthday, wedding anniversary and Valentine's all in one week ... 

We went out for cake and coffee and a spot of bird-watching at a nursery garden nearby.  A flock of long-tailed tits appeared - there were at least twelve on one feeder.  It would have been a great shot - if I'd remembered the camera.  And I could have told you that the Scots word for a long-tailed tit is 'fuffet'. Well, I've told you anyway, I think it's a lovely name for them.

The only bird I could get close enough to for a phone shot was this one. It was posing beside a very unphotogenic brick wall, so it has been given a Pop Art filter to make it look a bit more blipworthy.
