Music

This morning Tom brought a fiddle for adjustment. He came bearing a dozen eggs from Dorothy's very free-range hens; don't know what she feeds them, but they produce the tastiest eggs with orange yolks.

Spent most of the afternoon making an apricot and marzipan twist - my contribution for this evening. Found the recipe last year in an old Good Food Magazine (dated 2011!), bought the ingredients and intended to make it on the Winter Solstice, but didn't get round to it. Better late than never! It tasted as good as it sounds, so it's on the agenda for next winter.

A very pleasant evening at Judith and Alan's - music, food and good company. And there may have been wine...
