Cityscape

An early start to go down Newcastle for the second instalment of our abstract art course. Just time for a coffee and croissant before going in to the art centre. Apart from a short break at lunchtime, we painted away all day - time really does fly when you're having fun! Before leaving the centre, MrM and I bought a few brushes and some paint, and came away with lots of ideas.

By the time we drove home, storm Dennis was revving up horribly - very wet and windy. So far, we seem to have come off lightly, though it seems the worst is yet to come. Flooding and storm damage all around the UK.

(The Blip is the view down the alleyway beside the art centre. I think the spire is St Mary's Cathedral.)
