Vegvisir

Jae's new tattoo, which he had today!

A Vegvisir is a magical stave to help the wearer find their way through rough weather. It literally means Guidepost or direction sign! The symbol is attested in the Huld Manuscript, collected in Iceland by Geir Vigfusson in 1880 (but consisting of material of earlier origin)

I hope my Jae doesn't face too much rough weather in his life, but any that he does, that he will find his way! This looks great just as a tattoo anyway!

I have been over to my Mum and Dad's today, and I'm going out with some friends tonight so I'd better get a wiggle on and get ready. At least I didn't have to hunt for a Blip!
