Land-and-seascapes

A day of rest.

A day filled with relatively rest. Finally.
We all had a good night sleep and we started the day with an appointment at our own doctor/general practitioner. We had long a nice talk and he gave us all the time in the world to tell our story. He put Bas at ease and they chatted about London and football and so on.

After that we went back home for coffee. Postcards and flowers and 'get well soon' messages and phonecalls are starting to poor in now. That feels great.
Grandpa and -ma from Appingedam came by for a visit in the afternoon.

The flowers on the photo came from Bas' teachers from school.

Before we all knew it the day was over. In the evening Bas wanted to see a football match and we let him. Although it lasted until 23.00 hours, we didn't mind.
Slowly but surely we're getting back to normal mode.
