From here to there and all in between

Backblip
I woke with Ben standing over me :) must have been willing me to open my eyes. No such thing as a lie in with Ben, unlike with Cameron.

Breakfast was excellent- big variety of everything you could imagine and the favourite for Ben was the fresh pancake maker so he had six! Cameron is more sensible and has the hot breakfast along with loads more. I had the fruit and yogurt and then eggs, bacon, mushrooms (not bloody baked beans ) and toast.

I had bought and downloaded a Treasure Trail and this one took us as far as Glasgow Green starting from George Square then back there via Merchant City. Twenty one clues and instructions to fill into a grid and then put into the deactivation code , took about two hours and really enjoyable learning as we walked. Highly recommended and will def do another of these.

As we were back in George Square and it was lunch time popped into Nero Queen Street to see a friend who manages it and then we strode along to get the subway just off Argyle Street. Destination Partick and a short walk to the riverside Transport Museum and the Tall Ship Glenlee. Glasgow schools were back so it was pretty quiet as we explored both and spent a good two hours exploring. Both venues free and both excellent. Loved seeing the old trams and going on them.

Subway back to Cowcaddens which was a short walk to our hotel. We decided to have a chippy tea at the Italian chippy at the top of our street, The Oxford and we were ravenous with all the walking again. Ben showed a couple of old ladies how to Floss and then we wander over the road to the hotel then got changed for the swim. Ben had wear his shorts from yesterday as he had dropped his trunks into the towel drop with the towel the day before, never to be seen again.....

Shattered by 10 and sleep not long after.
