Flower Friday . . . Roses

This rose is Kate Shephard and she is a deep apricot pink and is liking the drought conditions.  The extra is two of my photos that I have printed and put on the wall today.  The top one was a blip of people walking on the beach.  The second is the wall in the foyer of the office building the lovely daughter works in.  This is in Christchurch and I love the texture of it.  Today it is eight years since the big earthquake.  I am thoughtful on this day about how that movement of the earth changed peoples lives forever.  We stand lightly on this earth.
