Frosty Morning

I chose to ignore the subjects offered by the challenges for today, because this morning was so beautiful that I had to use a picture of the lovely scenes today.

Bitterly cold this morning (at least by our standards, around -7 C) but lovely early morning sunlight. The trees and foliage were covered in a heavy frost, and the warm sun higlighted the tops of the trees. My town is not renowned for its beautiful landscapes, but the grounds of the school where I work looked fabulous, so I took a ten minute break to rush out and capture a few images.
