Strutting His Stuff

The male pheasant is really showing himself off at present, and so he should, he's looking great. I think he only had a couple of females (other than me) to impress this morning, although one day this year we had a dozen female pheasants in the front garden!

Now, if you're thinking I must have a huge front garden to entice 12 pheasants, no! It's here on a day of heavy rainfall, the pheasant is where the grass is on the right of the path.
