Better service station

The best weather of any February day I can ever remember.

A long motorway drive to Somerset to stay for a few days with good friends.
We knew we would be well fed once we arrived but a light lunch on the journey was desirable. But who wants to go into those depressing motorway service stations. Overcrowded and overpriced.

But for the sake of a few extra miles the National Trust provides a very acceptable alternative. This is Hanbury Hall just a few miles off the M5. An excellent NT tea room. Then a two mile walk in the sunshine in the extensive parkland. My two extras show the interesting things to be seen there.

Adds much pleasure to a long journey.
