Judy Woods

It was orienteering in Judy Woods today but I'm on strict 'flat and offroad' running, so whilst Tony set out on his course, I took my camera and wandered through the woods.  They were looking fine in the morning light so I took the decision to make the landscape the priority and let the orienteers come second for a change.   It is beech woodland so the terrain beneath the canopy is very open and runnable.  Here is Tony crossing in front of me as I followed the beck.

Back home Tony went to do a couple of hours in the allotment whilst I went out to do four laps of the cricket field with the Hobblers who are similarly invalided!  It was good to catch up and manage to run on our different injuries without doing further damage!
