Taking a Day off!

It was a lovely day for parkrun, you'd almost think Spring had arrived!  We had 223 runners today which included a large contingent of Bingley Snail Trails who were celebrating graduating from the Couch 2 5k programme with, for many of them, their first parkrun.  Amongst their group was also a runner in her hen do gear ahead of her wedding on Friday! 

I was marshalling on the tight corner half way up the hill today and it also gave me a good view of the downhill so I managed to blip Race Director S taking a day off to run the course with daughter Z!  Lots of woo hoos as they raced downhill and took the tight corners.

I've since uploaded 500+ runner blips, cleaned out the bird bath, watered a few plant pots, processed the last of the carrots for the freezer and had a cuppa outside with Billy the Cat from next door.
