A welcome guest

This is Mabel. Some of you may remember that Mabel lived with Bob and me for eight months last year, while Mike and Alison were building a house. They finally moved into their new home in the country right before Christmas. Surrounded by two acres of land where Mabel and their other dog, Cooper, will be able to play, it is a great home for a family with dogs. Unfortunately, it will be months before they can fully enjoy the property because the house is currently surrounded by a morass of mud. As a result, Mabel is spending much more time with Bob and me than with her "first family." I captured this blip as I was getting ready for bed, only to find that Mabel had already taken possession of my spot.
