A cold sun
Despite the radiant sun, our high today was 43 degrees. That made it uncomfortable to be out for long, but I walked down to the nail salon this afternoon and had a chance to look at the sidewalk gardens I've photographed before. Most of the plants were dying or had died, but there was a beauty there as well. I like the way the light catches the dead leaves and shriveled blossoms on this tree.
I impulsively decided to get pink nail polish with sparkles in it, and my hands now look sort of silly. Just trying to break out of my rut, but I don't think this was the way to go about it.
