Girl With the Pearl Earring ala Lautrec

First off, this is not my painting. I'd love to claim it but no. It's by my friend Helen and will be part of a show of paintings at the Whatcom Education Credit Union in Fairhaven next month. One of the things I do for a small fee is to photograph my friends' paintings so they can use them to document their work, enter shows, use as publicity materials and so forth. Today I photographed the six paintings that will be in her show. All six are of the girl with the pearl earring as a different artist would have painted it. They are big paintings, 36 inches by 24, and they are fantastic. Can't wait to see them hanging together at WECU. If you check the extras, you'll get a preview of the show.
