EMBRA

Hello all, sorry this is a very late blip.  I've just literally got back from Embra, managed to edit this one photo from the 150 I took so it will have to be my blip for today.  After all it is an iconic landscape.

Had a lovely day but couldn't get to South Queensferry as our friend was far too dizzy to rush around, so will reserve that for another time, in the Autumn maybe once all the festivals have been and gone.

We did go to a wonderful Street Photography Exhibition at the City Arts Museum by Robert Blomfield with some wonderful photographs recording life in Edinburgh in the 1960s.  Very inspirational, there was
also a film about him and his work.

We then went to Camera Obscura and the world of illusions.  Our friend had to take each floor one by one and rest inbetween but we did it.  Have been to see the Obscura before but a long time ago.  You also get a fabulous rooftops view of Edinburgh from up there with lovely views to the castle.

Called in for coffee and Scottish tapas at the Scottish Whisky Experience cafe but as I don't like Whisky and G can't  have any due to his medication it was a great shame.

The blip was taken whilst sitting at the Scott Monument waiting for our train back.  I bought our friend back with me for a two weeks respite holiday.

That's it for now - Hope you've  all had a lovely day to day and I will catch up on your blips tomorrow.
