Three Doors

BB had rugby this morning.  I decided to go for a short run, following which I popped down to see the second half of the match.  TT dropped BB at rugby and went off for his own run.  It was a lovely morning and I did just over 4 miles, without the wind of yesterday.  After a quick change I raced down the road to stand on the touchline and to be told that I had missed BB’s magnificent try – the first scored by his team.  TT had missed it too.  Overall it was a good game, even though they got beat.  The opposition were twice the size of our players, and played with brute force – which won through on the day.  Our lads played much more skilfully.  BB wrapped up the game, by scoring the last try.  He went on to be awarded man of the match for his great tries and his unfaltering commitment from the start to the finish of the game.  Well done BB – his sore finger didn’t hold him back!

He was exhausted and would have stayed on the sofa if we hadn’t gone over to North Berwick for a walk down the Glen and along the beach.  It was windy, but not cold and was a really lovely walk.  We came  home via the supermarket to get the provisions for TT’s curry, which went down very well.

Later TT and I watched a movie.

These doors are a remnant of the outdoor pool at North Berwick.  The extra is BB’s first ice cream of the year!
