Pieris in bloom

After the extraordinary temperatures of earlier this week shrubs everywhere in the garden are bursting out in buds, leaves and in the case of the pieris japonica in bell-like white flowers. Do I spot a tiny wee spider?  For Flower Friday with thanks to Anni/BikerBear for hosting.

Today it is much cooler and grey and wet, which is a shame as today is the day Carnival really starts with most schools having their pupil parades through the neighbourhoods. Weather expectations for the weekend and Monday and Tuesday aren't much better :-(

Thanks so much for all the Abstract Thursday entries and thank you for your kind comments, stars and even faves for yesterday's textured magnolia bud 'painting' !
