The Lozarithm Lens

Melkham (Monday 4th March 2019)

After last Thursday's failure to reach The Courts at Holt I set off again today on a similar mission. I paused en route in Melksham to do a spot of shopping and wandered up to the boathouse, where I'd photographed some ducks a week or two back. This time I spotted this young heron who posed for a few shots before squawking off.
Having found my blip, and as it was raining again, I decided to defer The Courts again for another day. I did walk up to St Michael's church to see the Purple Cross of crocuses I'd heard about. I found it but the croci were looking a bit rain-battered (see Extra). I may return on a sunnier day.
