Tree sculpture

A couple of days ago I had a photo showing an old, dying apple tree that I thought could be nice to keep as a sculpture if it lost its bark. Today I bring you and old giant near where I live that has done just that on its very own. Its beautiful shades of grey changes with the light and it's been beaten by by weather for so long, its surface has become silk smooth. 
The extra shows the whole tree.

I must admit it can be a bit dangerous to be around if it's windy. Branches lie all around at the bottom of the tree. It stands next to a major road and many stop to admire its shape and take photos -like myself.
