He had to be in my countdown somewhere, didn't he? Bowie is at No.19 in my Sony Countdown with 29 songs. A few years ago he would have been a lot higher, but Japanese homes enforce minimalist lifestyles so I had a clear out of CDs and Bowie was one who got the chop. Of course, I still think he's amazing, but not as consistent as some other artists, which is perhaps inevitable for an artist with such a wide-ranging oeuvre.

I may be absent for a few days as I am off to Korea for some professional development but I will try to find a way to continue blipping while I am away. I just cannot bear to be without my Velvet Goldmine.
