Stones

Another Saturday morning session doing a condition survey of the gravestones in Cumbernauld Old Parish Church kirkyard.

Working in twos and working to a pre-determined plan we're making progress, although we're taking it just an hour or two at a time and quite happy to get it right rather than miss anything.

The earliest inscription our team found this morning (not on the stones pictured here) was 1773, although there are earlier stones in the kirkyard.
