Life in Newburgh on Ythan

By Talpa

An American visitor.

A lovely warm and sunny morning at Peterhead harbour. This was the bow of the Artemis, a trawler registered in Inverness. Artemis was the daughter of the Greek God Zeus and the goddess of the hunt in her own right. An appropriate name for a boat that makes its living by hunting fish. Why she has a painting of a windsurfing Bart Simpson on her bow is quite another matter.

Extra. A number of seals were patrolling the harbour in search of any discards. This one was enjoying itself blowing bubbles!
