MM - Deliberate

I wonder if the spider deliberates long and hard before he weaves his deadly web and does he deliberately spin a particular pattern into his hazardous home. It seemed there was much to ponder and deliberate on when I spotted the spider's web this morning but fortunately for me the deliberation wasn't compulsory.
