Cuckoo

I did find the little jumper today still in the agapanthus, but Debbi, really I didn't get a good enough shot of it.  It was very shy and then I found this cuckoo bee on the kitchen window ledge.  How it got inside the house I don't know.  I took it outside and put it on the rosemary which is out in flower and it must have been starving but it devoured the flowers.

This is only the second time I have seen one of these bees.  They are called cuckoo bees and like the birds lay their eggs in someone else's nest.  In this case, the Teddy bear bee.

Thanks for hosting Debbi.  Maybe the jumper will oblige next week!
