Tiny Tears

So, back home... and with approximately nine hundred photographs to process and a minor hurricane blowing outside you might think my blip mojo could be a tad jaded. Not a bit!

The return to Britain, even on a day like today, is a return to springtime and to garden colours. Munich, great though it is as a city, and as lovely as Bavaria is as a whole, is bereft of flowers and greenery. Winter still holds sway, and the flat open landscape has little patience with tender plants.

This hyacinth is almost abstract, but full of life, scent and colour. The rain, briefly paused (otherwise I'd not have gone out there at all!) has left droplets all over the purple flowers. Reminds me of the EU flag, weeping for our madness.

The Munich album is growing, albeit slowly. I'd wait a week to get the full variety of our break - Reunions, carnivals, castles, concentration camps, museums, parks, mountains, more drinking... it'll all be here.
