Life through the lens...

Tiny Tuesday.

An awful day and I thought it would be an indoor blip, but the rain stopped and we had a brief glimpse of the sun.
So managed an outdoor photo of this tiny primula flower in our alpine sink garden.
Only a few centimetres high and so my Tiny Tuesday blip.

We had a good time last night.
Delicious meal.
Home cured Gravadlax with golden beetroot salad.
Followed by Confit Leg of Duck, cabbage, bacon dauphinois potatoes, and red wine sauce.

Arnold ‘s Restaurant near to Leeds Arena, is named after Leed’s legendary entrepreneur.philanthropist Arnold Ziff.
Managed by the team behind the former Brassiere 44. A husband and wife team, with the wife doing the cooking.
We had a very warm welcome, excellent service, and modern but comfortable surroundings.
There was an interesting selection of wines from Majestic.
Ranging in price from £7.99. to. £ 49.49.
My favourite was the Au Bon Climat, Pinot Noir, “ Isobelle” 2014 from California.
As you may have guessed that was the dearest!
Always nice to taste these expensive wines, even if beyond my price range!

Only problem we had was first getting out of the multi story car park, second then getting a bit lost trying to get out of Leeds City Centre, thirdly the slip road off the motorway was closed, so a slight detour.
Just glad I wasn’t driving!
Many thanks to G. for bringing us home.
