Up Close and Personal

This blue heron was not concerned when I walked up close to her.....she was close to my house.....thank goodness since Ellie wanted me to stay near her today. She is a little better but still has a cough and runny nose; I talked to the doctor today and he said a clear runny nose and a cough are usually a good thing. We decided that she was probably in pain last night; maybe a headache and if it happens again he told me to give her baby Ibuprofen......hopefully we wont need it. I just rocked her to sleep and she is soundly asleep in her crib. By the way, it is extremely difficult to stand up holding a sleeping 26 pound baby from a soft rocking chair!!
