Close up of Little Bud

This little bud is opening to become a beautiful Star Magnolia....but right now it is a beautiful little bud!! It was at the very top of the tree so I had to zoom to the max to get this shot. I love the fuzzy buds that are tightly closed too. 
Today started very rainy, so a trip to the Japanese Gardens was cancelled; we had a lovely lunch at a Thai Restaurant and chatted until the sun appeared........ it came and went for the rest of the day.....but mostly cloudy.
