Now, as I see it......

Lanhydrock

A better day today; not without showers, but some good spells of sunshine. We drove over to Lanhydrock House, a 16th Century National Trust house which is very well preserved. Having been largely destroyed in a fire in 1881 it was rebuilt as a substantial Victorian home, so has the feel of a house that could be lived in even today (albeit with a full complement of staff to run the place for you!). This is a view of the gatehouse as approached from the car park.

Eating in the flat tonight as we are eating out on both Monday and Tuesday nights, but not before we head over to the London Inn shortly for a couple of drinks!
