The Shuttle

 A dry sunny day with a very strong wind - and thankfully, the water level throughout the valley after yesterday's heavy rain dropped dramatically overnight. 
Whilst travelling through Nelson in Lancashire this afternoon we spotted this 12m (39ft) high steel sculpture of a weaving shuttle is in the town centre. The monument was designed to celebrate the town's cotton spinning industry during the Industrial Revolution.
