End o da Rod

A fairly calm day, the odd cloud in the morning, but sunny, with blue skies all afternoon.  Clear skies tonight.

I've had today off as a holiday, and up early to get on with the day.  Popped along Madeline's first thing, and then headed out for a run.  Cousin Leona wasn't home, but trip not wasted, popped by Caroline's (Robertson).  On the way back, we popped by my new peat bank at Hill of Fitch, Tingwall.  The afternoon was in the garden, and then met friend Julie for walkies with the dogs.  An early shift in the pub, more walkies with Sammy after, and now feet up by the fire.

My mission this morning was to pop by Caroline, as she was getting some snowdrops for the garden, which are now planted.  I meant to take a photo if the house the snowdrops came from, but got distracted, but managed to get a photo of the neighbouring house.  Typical that a cloud passed over when I took the shot.  Taken at the end of the road, next to Kirkabister, Vidlin.
