Now, as I see it......

Reflections

A view of the harbour at Padstow early today as I walked up to the paper shop. Later we had a long walk along the Camel Trail, the old railway line between Padstow and Wadebridge. The trail follows the side of the estuary and the tide was very low, so we saw several herons, egrets, turnstones and cormorants, and one sandpiper.

Plenty of photo opportunities down here, not least from the flat itself. I've added a shot of the old railway bridge on the Camel Trail and some sky reflections in a creek off the main estuary, and also a couple taken from the flat; this morning while the tide was low there was a lot of work going on on the Doom Bar to widen the channel, followed later by a dredger going up and down.

An excellent meal at Rick Stein's last night but that was a 'spur of the moment' decision; tonight we are eating at Paul Ainsworth's 'No 6' which has one Michelin Star. Should be good!
