Two Little Leaves

Dear Diary,

Funny what catches and holds your eye.  These two little leaves are right outside my bathroom window and I've been watching them for several days.  I fully expected them to blow away but they continue to sink into the snow with each day of melting.  One is an oak leaf and I'm not sure what the other is.  I'm afraid they will be covered with snow on Saturday.

I received the loveliest card from the animal hospital where I took Emerson.  It contained a little cat-shaped packet of wildflower seeds to plant.  I thought that was the sweetest thing. (extra)
