A day in the life

Warming up

Weather was really nice today. Clear blue sky and all the birds are rehearsing their mating tweets. Waiting for me, on the wall next to my door was my blip. It's still a bit cold in the wind so he let me get really close. I wonder what it would be like waking up to a working season like the one we see ahead of us if the bees had feelings in stead of instinct. What if you'd rather fight for a six day week or chilling with your friends down by the water lilies instead of being bullied by the militant order-bees. And what about the mysterious disappearing honey we give to our kids. It seems like we have to work more than we have to...

Without this little creature working his socks off we would be in serious trouble as a specie having to rethink all of our food chain really fast in order to survive. And not only us, think of all the plants being dependent on him pollinating their flowers to reproduce.

Let's all bow our heads a little bit extra when we see one of these little insects getting ready for work.
