It wasn't a convincing victory. Wigan beat Salford by just 8 points (22-30) in the end. It was entertaining though, and a better atmosphere than the last match we attended, and we walked out winners in the end.

it is a platform to build on and hopefully will be a turning point in the season for the team as the coach saga rumbles on. If I were in charge, I'd tell Mr. Edwards to decide one way or the other, and if he continues to hedge his bets, make the decision for him and tell him to "do one"! If he doesn't know if he really wants to coach his home-town club that made him who he is today, then maybe we are better off without him anyway! And at least it will end the uncertainty and give Adi Lam a chance to show what he can do to earn the job permanently!

We are going to next weeks' home game too, against Catalans Dragons from France. I cheer them on when they are not playing us, but will cheer against them all the more vociferously for that!

Home now and having a couple of ciders. At least the journey was much smoother than last time's adventure in the fog. The only snag was the half an hour it took to leave the car park - hundreds of cars trying to funnel out all at once with no system other than all pointing at the exit from wherever they were parked, and heading for it at the same time! Chaos!
