A day in the life

Socks

One of our children songs starts with the words: "Blåsippan ute i backarna står...", meaning that the blue anemonies, the Liverleaf, has arrived. Later in the song the children say: "Nu får vi gå utan strumpor och skor", meaning that now we can go without our socks and shoes, because the flower doesn't have any. Mum of course tells them that there's still some winter left out there, the Liverleaf doesn't catch a cold, you keep your shoes and socks on.

I see this tree still has its knee-socks on, I'm glad it listens to its mother. We don't want any coughing trees around disturbing the birds singing.
