Blooming!

Three weeks ago the Amaryllis was showing a couple of fat buds which promised another year of blooms. Yesterday I noticed they were at the bud burst stage, and reminding myself to blip them.

Just look at them today! Both stems have four huge blooms, one slightly in advance of the other. They are now back in full view in the dining room, on the old Central Hall font their usual pedestal with their original piece of string and flat iron weight support system but with the addition of an extra flat iron, for security.
