Suburban Bunting

My daughter lives in a fairly recently built development on the edge of town. I like how the designers have incorporated lots of grassed open spaces, wooded areas and routes for humans and wildlife. We often start our Wednesday dogwalks out into the countryside at a reed-fringed lake which has a boardwalk across it. Our dogs love it and have got used to sitting quietly while I take pics of the gulls that sit along the rail. Frankie dog enjoys rolling in gull guano. This morning a male reed bunting had joined the gulls.

PS I've edited this as I inadvertently put 'dog guano' when I meant 'gull guano'. No dog mess here, most people are good at picking up after their hounds and there are plenty of dog waste bins.
